Fieldhouse Bar & Grill ("Fieldhouse," "we," "us," "our") operates this website and the venue at 138 S. Clinton St, Iowa City, IA 52240. We are the business responsible for the personal information described here. Questions, requests, or complaints can be sent to bar@iowacitybar.com.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to information collected through this website, our online forms, our email and text marketing programs, and messages you send us. It does not apply to information you give a third party directly, such as Instagram, Facebook, Google, or a ticketing or delivery partner. Those companies handle your information under their own policies.

3. Information You Give Us

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number, reason for contact, and your message.
• Group space inquiries: name, email, phone, preferred date, group size, event type, and any notes you add.
• Employment applications: name, email, phone, position of interest, weekly availability, the content of your message, and any resume file you upload.
• Marketing signup: email address and/or mobile number, your consent selection, the date and time of consent, and the page you signed up from.

Please do not send payment card numbers, Social Security or government ID numbers, health information, precise geolocation, or other sensitive personal data through this website. We do not ask for it and do not want it in a form submission.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you submit a form we record your browser's user agent string and the date and time of submission, which helps us detect spam and abuse. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include IP address and requested page, for security and reliability. 5. How We Use Your Information

• To reply to your message, inquiry, or application.
• To plan, quote, and confirm VIP tables, private space, and floor rentals.
• To evaluate employment applications and contact candidates.
• With your consent, to send specials, event announcements, and game day updates by email or text, and to build audience lists for advertising on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To keep business records and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent for marketing messages, on our legitimate business interest for responding to inquiries and securing the site, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep or disclose records.

6. Email and Text Marketing Consent

We add you to our marketing list only after you submit the signup form and check the consent box. By checking that box you give express written consent to receive recurring marketing emails and/or automated marketing text messages from Fieldhouse at the address or number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to opt out of email.
• You may also email bar@iowacitybar.com and ask to be removed from any or all lists.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of marketing does not stop replies to a question you asked us or messages needed to confirm a reservation or application.

7. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers: our website hosting and database provider, which stores form submissions, and our email delivery provider, which sends notifications to our staff. They may use the data only to provide those services to us.
• Advertising platforms: when we upload a hashed audience list of people who consented so we can show them our ads. Some state privacy laws treat this kind of audience matching as "sharing" or "targeted advertising," and you may opt out at any time.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or regulator, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, staff, or business.
• Business transfer: in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of the business, subject to this policy.

8. How Long We Keep Information

• Contact and group inquiries: as long as needed to serve you, then in business records.
• Employment applications and resumes: up to two years, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
• Marketing list entries: until you opt out or request deletion.
• Security and server logs: for a short retention period set by our hosting provider.

9. Security

Form submissions travel over encrypted HTTPS connections and are stored in access-restricted systems. Administrative access is limited to authorized Fieldhouse staff, and export of marketing data requires a private credential held by us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, a copy of it, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of your information. Residents of Iowa (under the Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act), California, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

To make a request, email bar@iowacitybar.com with the words "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want us to do. We will verify your request using the contact details we already have and respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. If we deny your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.

We do not knowingly sell personal information or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Do Not Track

This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because no common standard exists, but we also do not run cross-site advertising trackers on the site itself.

12. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults. Fieldhouse is a 19+ or 21+ venue depending on the night, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Users Outside the United States

Our website and services are operated in the United States and intended for U.S. residents. If you access the site from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.
